This dynamic and interactive digital content is widely used by different industries, such as education, training, entertainment, reference materials, presentations, marketing, documentary, product design, etc.
What is animation?
Animation is the art of creating moving visuals through static images. By displaying a slightly different version of static images, drawings, or models in quick succession, it creates the illusion of continuous motion and movement. Today, animation is widely used in films, TV, games, apps, motion graphics, VFX, UI elements, ads, and more.
What is graphics?
Graphics refer to visual designs and images to convey meaningful information. It manipulates an image or a set of images in the form of pixels, and can include drawings, photographs, and other pictorial representations either to entertain, illustrate, or inform. Graphics are widely used in digital photography, film, entertainment, electronic gadgets, etc.
What does a graphic designer do?
Graphic designers create visual concepts using computer software to communicate ideas and engage audiences for businesses, brands, studios, and media houses. Graphic designers typically design logos, brochures, packaging, advertisements, posters, marketing materials, and social media creatives.
What does an animator do?
Animators create characters, environments, and movement for films, games, ads, apps, and VFX. Animators typically use various computer software to do their work. They work with storyboards, rigs, keyframes, timing, effects, and software to bring ideas to life. Most animators specialise in 2D, 3D, character work, VFX, or motion graphics.
