Associate Professor Sayandip Palit has been associated with ILEAD since March 2024. Prior to this position he was working as Associate Professor in the School of Cinema, AAFT, Noida,U.P.
He has also taught as Associate Professor in the Film & TV department, Chandigarh University, Punjab and as an Assistant Professor in the department of Film Editing at KRNNIVSA, Kerala, an autonomous state film school under the government of Kerala, India. Prior to these he was associated as a lecturer & project supervisor with the journalism & media department in the Shree Shikshayatan Collge, WB.
He has been teaching full time in Film Editing & Film history & production since 2012, and has mentored students in both film editing theories and its subsequent practical applications with various industry standard DNLE software, e.g Avid MC, FCP, Premiere Pro & DaVinci to name a few.
