Webinar on Everest and Beyond

iLEAD, IBSA and BENGAL CLUB through a joint initiative will be presenting a webinar on ‘Everest and Beyond: Passion, Grit and Resilient Leadership’.

The webinar was conducted on Zoom on August 22, 2020, from 6 pm to 7:15 pm.

The speakers of the event were Mr. Ajeet Bajaj and Ms. Deeya Bajaj. They are the first Indian father-daughter duo to climb Mt. Everest on May 16th 2018 and they have also climbed 6 out of 7 summits in the world. They are the first parent-child team in the world to climb from the harder North side. They took the attendees through a photographic journey of their expeditions.

Mr. Ajeet Bajaj is an adventurer, explorer and entrepreneur. He is a recipient of Padma Shri Award and Managing Director of Snow Leopard Adventures. He is also the first Indian to have completed the Polar Trilogy, comprising of skiing to the North Pole (2006), South Pole (2007) and Greenland Icecap (2011).

Ms. Deeya Bajaj is a mountaineer, explorer and motivational speaker. She is also Director, Business Development and Operations at Snow Leopard Adventures. She is the youngest ever in the world to ski across Greenland icecap at the age of 17. She is also the youngest member of a sea kayaking expedition to west coast of Greenland.

Dr. Sandip Chatterjee, renowned Neurosurgeon and President, Indo British Scholars Association (IBSA), moderated the event.

Ajeet Bajaj and Deeya Bajaj have traversed many expeditions for years and climbed a number of mountain summits.
