Students from the iLEAD School of Science and Technology had an opportunity to visit Centre for Sight, a renowned eye hospital in Kolkata. The visit was organised during their departmental Orientation on August 9th, 2023.
A team of 10 new students from the Department of Optometry had a great experience during the industrial visit. Industrial visits are important for gaining better practical knowledge.
Students were provided with the experience of the entire hospital along with the operations of the hospital.
The students had a chance to visit different departments of the organisation, and were also explained the aspects related to Optometry and were delivered with the understanding of the respective departments.
The students also got the opportunity to visit the patients there. It was a successful industrial visit to the Centre for Sight Eye Hospital with enthusiastic students' participation and the hospital authority's cooperation.
