On 19th February iLEAD's auditorium was graced by the presence of director Ranjan Ghosh, actor Abir Chatterjee and director-actor and theatre veteran Ms. Sohag Sen. Screening of Ranjan Ghosh's 2014 critically acclaimed Hrid Majharey (starring Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen) was followed with an opportunity of interaction with the trio. The students of iLEAD asked questions during the interaction that dealt with the process of adaptations, film making, acting and much more. The film is a psychological roller coaster of a teacher and his trysts in romance with series of mishaps. Contrary to popular belief the director emphasized on the fact that the film was not pre planned to be a Shakespearean adaptation but later some parts of the plot matched with some aspects of Shakespeare's characters. Impressed by the campus and the students the director requested the audience to watch his upcoming film in theatre.
The guests also interacted with Chairperson Mr. Pradip Chopra and Executive Director, Ms. Pragya Chopra. Their experience of coffee with savouries at iLEAD's China Town also added to the charm of the eventful afternoon.
