The Teacher's Day celebration at iLEAD was one of the best surprises this month. From the morning all the teachers were given tokens of appreciation and post lunch all the teachers were called to the auditorium to witness the celebration. The inaugural lamp of the celebration was lit by iLEAD Chairman Mr Pradip Chopra and iLEAD Executive Director Ms Pragya Chopra. The program then commenced with a Guru Vandana dance recital.
This was followed by a short comedy skit by "Yukti and team" and an acoustic music session by "Gourab and Crew". A recitation with images and verses dedicated to the mentors transformed the atmosphere into that of warmth, nostalgia and emotional bonding. This was followed by a dance performance by the students of all the three years. A 20 minute video created by the students for the teachers was presented. Students spoke about the quirks and little known facts about their favourite teachers in the most informal and interactive way. Little tokens of appreciation were given to each teacher as well.
The teachers and students gathered at Casablanca for the cake cutting and photo sessions. This was by far one of the fondest teacher's day celebration that iLEAD mentors experienced and will be cherished for a long time to come.
