iLEAD organized a students' orientation program on June 27th and 28th for the new batch of Animation, Multimedia and Graphics Design for the academic year of 2019.
The first day of the orientation program started off at 9 am with a meet and greet session followed by distribution of orientation kit to the students.
Mr. Pradip Chopra, Chairman of iLEAD, delivered a welcome speech for the students followed by a presentation on rules and regulations of the college by Dr. Debasis Ray and Dr. Ishita Datta Ray.
A parting speech was also delivered by students of outgoing batches. Among the students who spoke are Rohit Chaukhani and Barsha Roy from the outgoing BBA and Media Science batches.
By noon, a session was conducted by Ms. Pragya Chopra, Executive Director, iLEAD, after which lunch was provided to each of the new students.
A special activity round of 'Know Each Other' and 'Branding Fun - Do' concluded the first day of the orientation program.
Under the activities students created glass paintings, pot paintings and fabric designs.
The 2nd day was no less for the new incoming students. The day began with registration at 9 am and was followed by an exciting treasure hunt activity. The treasure hunt activity witnessed the highly energized students rushing through the campus to locate the various hints that were hidden for them in different locations.
In the talent hunt round by the 2nd half of the day 12 teams of students were seen indulging in singing, dancing, drama and 3 Minutes to Fame. Some students also performed on stage showcasing their talent in Beat Boxing.
On 3rd of August 2019, the finale of the Talent Hunt round will take place. The top 7 teams who were selected to perform at the finale are -

Team Tangarin won the round of 'Branding Fun - Do' and Team Crimson took away the trophy for 'Treasure Hunt' round.
