The new students of the iLEAD School of Science and Technology had an opportunity to attend a session on Optometry during their departmental orientation on August 8th, 2023. Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhootra conducted the session. He is an optometrist, novelist, and executive director of one of the largest optical chains in Kolkata, Himalaya Optical.
A PPT was screened for the students of Optometry by Mr. Bhootra on Dispensing of Frames.
Besides, he stressed on the scope of optometry in the global industry. It was a successful workshop with the participation of highly enthusiastic students of the Department of Optometry.
