The new students of the iLEAD School of Science and Technology had the opportunity to attend a sessionon Optometryduring their departmental orientation on August 8th, 2023. Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhootra conducted the session. He is an optometrist, novelist, and executive director of one of the largest optical chains in Kolkata, Himalaya Opticals.
A PPT was screened for the students of Optometry by Mr. Bhootra on Dispensing of Frames.
Besides, he stressed on the scope of optometry in the global industry. It was a successful workshop with the participation of highly enthusiastic students of the Department of Optometry.
