Pharmacists play a pivotal role in society, they bridge the gap between a doctor and a patient. Every year, 12th January is celebrated as the National Pharmacist Day in India.
The Health Club of iLEAD celebrated National Pharmacist Day on January 16th, 2024 at the New Auditorium from 11 AM onwards. The topic of the informative session was 'Recognizing Pharmacists as a Part of the Public Health'.
The keynote speaker of the session was Mr. Samrat Sanyal. Mr. Sanyal is the Joint General Manager, and Group Head of the Quality Department at ILS Hospital. He did his graduation in Health Care and Hospital Management and is a working professional in the hospital industry with 20+ years of experience.
The session commenced by felicitating the guest speaker. The students from the iLEAD School of Science & Technology attended the engaging session. Mr. Samrat Sanyal shared his career journey with the students and discussed how pharmacists are becoming crucial parts of the public health workforce. Also, he shared how one can achieve a successful career in the hospital management sector.
