iLEAD in association with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India had organized the 8th edition of the grand college fest of Managedia 2022 from May 9th to May 13th. The event witnessed participation from 46 colleges in 50+ rounds with 200+ judges and 431 winning teams. The ministry had sponsored 10 rounds with the themes of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’, ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and the winners are rewarded with an all-inclusive 3 days 2 nights study tour to north-east India by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Students from various colleges including iLEAD who were winners in these 10 rounds namely Vlogging, Social Media Campaign, Ad and PR, Journalism, Film and Photography, Ad Film Making, Culinary, Drama and Mr. and Ms. Managedia received the ticket to the north east handed over by the chief guest of the closing ceremony of Managedia, Dr. Sagnik Chowdhury, Deputy Director General & Regional Director and Mr. Sayak Nandi, Assistant Director (East) at the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

The participating colleges in the ministry sponsored rounds were Shri Shikshayatan, St. Xavier’s University, Bethun College, The Heritage Academy, JDBI, NSHM, Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, Goenka College, iLEAD among others.

Other participating colleges included Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, Amity University, Asutosh College, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, Dinabandhu Andrew's Institute of Technology and Management, IEM, IIHM, Jadavpur University, Lady Brabourne College, Maharaja Manindra Chandra College, Sister Nivedita University, South Calcutta Girls' College, Pailan College of Management and Technology and more.

Some of the other rounds of Managedia included Best Manager, Marketing, Finance, HR, Insta Grid, Meme and Story, Digital Art and Fine Art, Logo Creation, Cultural, Quill Verse, Beat Boxing, Fashion Show, Sports and many more. The new rounds that were introduced this year were Gaming, Radio Play, Ideathon and Anime Cosplay.

The opening ceremony of Managedia also witnessed the presence of dignitaries that included Dr. Saikat Maitra (Vice Chancellor of MAKAUT), Mr. Arindam Sil (Actor, Director and Producer), Dr. Aninda Chatterjee (Certified corporate director with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India), Mr. Suyash Borar (Former Chief Executive of CMRI & B. M. Birla Heart Research Centre and Founder of the Healthcare Start-up Trust Medi) along with Mr. Sayak Nandi (Assistant Director, East, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India).
