Cambridge Marketing College, UK and iLEAD Institute, Kolkata joined hands to launch several short term industry oriented marketing courses on how to use emerging technologies to improve the efficiency and impact of all marketing activities through Data Mining and Analytics, Predictive and Perspective Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Block Chain, etc. Participants of such courses would also get certificate from the State's biggest technical University MAKAUT as the curriculum of the same would be designed and approved by MAKAUT and would be conducted under their supervision.
iLEAD would also officially publish and distribute the Indian edition of Cambridge Marketing Review (Journal) which will carry New age articles on marketing as well as Global and Indian Case Studies highlighting the use of new technologies in marketing. The event was graced by Mr. Pradip Chopra (Chairman of iLEAD and PS Group), Dr. Saikat Maitra (Vice Chancellor of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal), and Mr. Nandan Sengupta (College Ambassador for India - Cambridge Marketing College, UK).
Speaking about the advent of emerging technologies, Mr. Pradip Chopra said, 'If we don't change with time, we will get redundant very soon'. He emphasized on the need of 'continuous learning' and 'skill upgrading'. Speaking about marketing operations guided by technology he talked how advertisements will be 'assisting customers rather than being intrusion' in the coming days.
Mr. Nandan Sengupta talked about 'contemporary cutting in technology' and how technology and brilliance of Indian students can open numerous prospects in the field of marketing.
Dr. SaikatMaitra said, "Probably for the first time one of our affiliated colleges is going to collaborate for something like this with an international prestigious institute". Congratulating iLEAD for the collaboration he also spoke how in the coming days we can't think of pursuing management programs without AI.
The collaboration will benefit both students completing their Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs in business management as well as working professionals who would be offered part-time weekend courses as well as Postgraduate Diploma in Excellence in Business Management Practices through Emerging Technologies. The program will also have an online version for people who are not able to physically attend such programs.
Those who are not able to commit to join such programs both online and offline can benefit by subscribing the Cambridge Marketing Review (Journal) which would keep them updated about the development as well as new age activities taking place in the field of marketing using emerging technologies throughout the Business Universe with relevant case studies both global and Indian. It would also provide them a venue to share their own success stories by contributing and publishing their articles and sharing their experiences through this journal.
The initiative also plans to create a web platform to bring all professionals in marketing together to be able to share their success stories as well as failures, learn from each other and to form a well-networked fraternity.
