Institute of Leadership Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD) in association with US Consulate General, Kolkata hosted the Jefferson Junior Debate at the American center in Kolkata on 17th November 2023.
Approximately around 10 prestigious schools of Kolkata participated including St. James School, St Lawrence High School, La Martiniere for Girls and many more. They passionately debated ‘for ‘and ‘against’ the topic ‘U.S.- India strategic relationship will contribute towards regional stability in South Asia’.
The students conversed fiercely and gave a tough competition to their fellow debaters.
DPS Ruby Park won the Jefferson Trophy and the 2nd and 3rd positions were acquired by Garden High and Assembly of God Church respectively.
