Marked on the calendar for March 22nd, March 29th, April 3rd, and April 12th, the iLEAD campus buzzed with excitement to be a hub of ideas and inspiration as the “GenNext Open House” took flight! Across the incredible days, a one-of-a-kind event was designed to help students unlock their potential, explore dynamic career paths, and take the first confident step toward a future they can be proud of.
Across these four incredible days, students didn't just explore career options — they found direction, discovered passion, and started shaping the futures they dream of. It wasn’t just an event — it was the start of something bigger.
The highlight of Day One was the presence of Dr. Kumkum Mukherjee, a distinguished academician in the field of Management and a respected Researcher at Calcutta University. She was warmly felicitated by Ms. Pragya Chopra (Executive Director of iLEAD) in a moment celebrating academic brilliance and mentorship. Dr. Mukherjee offered students in-depth insights about aptitude assessments. She helped students understand how these assessments can uncover their strengths, passions, and potential career paths. Her session was a powerful step toward self-discovery and informed decision-making.
Mr. Pradip Chopra (Chairman of iLEAD) addressed the students with insightful words, motivating them to take charge of their futures through focused career mapping and purpose-driven planning in these sessions.
During the multi-day GenNext Open House, Ms. Chopra shared the inspiring story of iLEAD’s journey to becoming a Stanford Seed Company, encouraging aspiring students to become a part of it. She emphasized how iLEAD opens doors to exceptional internship and lucrative placement opportunities, setting the stage for flourishing careers.
The remaining three days of the GenNext Open House were highlighted by a thought-provoking panel discussion, featuring esteemed speakers — Professor Dr. Soumen Chatterjee (Principal, iLEAD), Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharya (Corporate and HR Head, iLEAD), and Mr. Soumya Suvra Das (Head of the Media Science Department, iLEAD). They shared powerful insights on the evolving landscape of higher education, career adaptability, emerging industry trends, and the significance of industry-aligned learning.
From interactive sessions to career mapping, expert guidance, and meaningful conversations — all these days were all about turning curiosity into clarity and dreams into direction. Students also had the unique opportunity to attend a fireside chat with an industry expert, gaining real-world insights into today’s evolving career landscape. Personalized, one-on-one guidance from department heads and industry professionals added incredible value to the experience. A cozy lunch was organized to wrap up the day, giving students a chance to unwind, connect, and leave with smiles and newfound confidence.
