LEAD- The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development witnessed ‘Future Vista- The New Age Careers’. The 2nd edition of the 5 days career conclave was inaugurated on April 24, 2023. With the emergence of the new age career options, an event like Future Vista was organised to help our students to unlock the brightest career options ahead. April 25, 2023, was the second day of the five days long career conclave.
Experts from the fields of Entrepreneurship, Media, and Film were present to enlighten all the students. The second panel in the afternoon was on the ‘Changing Trends in Sports Industry’. The second panel consisted of Mr. Arnab Bhowmik (CEO, United Sports Club), Mr. Yan Law (Ex-National Team Footballer, Asia’s Youngest Professional Coach), Mr. Sumedh Patodia (Team Director, Kolkata Thunderbolts), Mr. Anirban Dutta (Secretary, Indian Football Association) as the panelists along with Ms. Prerna Rajaram (Journalist) as the moderator.
Mr. Arnab Bhowmik made students aware of the ‘media and management aspects in sports’. Mr. Anirban Dutta talked about the ‘largest sporting events in India and the opportunities in the sports sector’. Mr. Sumedh Patodia gave insights on ‘how to start a business in the sports industry’. Mr. Yan Law spoke about the ‘recruiting process in the football sector’.
