iLEAD- The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development witnessed ‘Future Vista- The New Age Careers’ on April 24, 2023. The 2nd edition of the 5 days career conclave was inaugurated on April 24, 2023. With the emergence of the new age career options, an event like Future Vista was organised to help our students unlock the brightest career options.
Experts from the fields of Entrepreneurship, Media, and Film were present to enlighten all the students. The second panel of the third day (April 26, 2023) was in the afternoon on design. Dignitaries like Mr. Debojyoti Goswami (Award Winning Celebrity Fashion Designer), Mr. Souktik Bhattacharjee (Urban Designer), Ms. Bidisha Moitra Basu (Interior Designer), Mr. Abhishek Ray (Fashion Designer) and Ms. Sneha Ashar Bhodia (Fashion Designer at Sar Clothing and Co-Founder of Label Kozy Lemon) as the moderator.
Mr. Debojyoti Goswami talked about the current scenario of the fashion industry and how demand changes every 6 months. Mr. Souktik Bhattacharjee spoke on how technology is impacting the design industry. Ms. Bidisha Moitra Basu stressed the importance of ‘changing and evolving with time’. Mr. Abhishek Ray said about ‘adapting to changes and sustainability and reusability in the fashion industry’.
