iLEAD- The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development witnessed ‘Future Vista- The New Age Careers’ on April 24, 2023. The 2nd edition of the 5 days career conclave was inaugurated on April 24, 2023. With the emergence of the new age career options, an event like Future Vista was organised to help our students unlock the brightest career options.
Experts from the fields of Entrepreneurship, Media, and Film were present to enlighten all the students. The first panel of the third day (April 26, 2023) was on Animation and Gaming. Mr. Sankha Banerjee (Asst Professor, Department of Multimedia, St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata), Mr. Argha Sengupta (Associate Professor, Animation Cinema Dept, SRFTI, Kolkata), Mr. Som Sankar Naskar (Chief Technology Officer, ReadingRight Technologies Pvt. Ltd), Ms Ekta Bhattacharjee (Founder, Ekta Creative Tales) were in the panel.
Mr. Argha Sengupta stressed how storytelling will remain relevant despite changes in technology. Mr. Sankha Banerjee provided guidance on becoming an illustrator or graphic novel artist. He also talked about the importance of ethnic and own cultural storytelling. Ms. Ekta Bhattacharjee spoke about typography for different genres along with her entrepreneurial journey in the sector. Mr. Sankha Banerjee talked about how AI will impact the gaming industry.
