Future Vista 2024 – Session on Fashion & Interior

On April 9, 2024, iLEAD, “The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development” represented the premiere of "Future Vista: The New Age Careers." On the subject of careers, opportunities, and future growth prospects in the fashion and interior industries, the third iteration of the two-day professional conference got underway. The occasion was arranged to assist our students in gaining access to the most promising job opportunities in light of the advent of new-age professional options.

Experts from different sectors of fashion and Interior came on the occasion to share their valuable experiences and knowledge with students to encourage them to grow their careers in the dynamic work environment. The panelists consisted of Ms. Anubhuti Jain (Faculty, iLEAD), Ms. Roshan Choudhury (Founder, Roshe), Ms. Tamashree Roy (Film Costume Designer, and Founder of Tamashree), Ms. Shreyashi Roy (Cityscape Interior and Hicks Design), and the session was conducted by Mr. Azim Danish (Founder and Principal Architect, Azim Danish Architects). According to them, the industry is highly dynamic and ever-evolving which is offering a plethora of career growth opportunities with promising prospects in future. The dignitaries claimed that professionals can expect a diverse range of roles and advancement for emerging technologies and sustainability initiatives.

Ms. Tamashree Roy talked about "how brands depend on customised products,". Ms. Anubhuti Jain discussed the influence of sustainable fashion on the design industry with its importance as well. Ms. Shreyashi Roy talked about the value of research in her speech. She commented, "Just don't copy and paste as a designer,". Ms. Roshan Choudhary explained the biggest challenges of the moment in the industry to survive as a professional.

The panelists touched on sustainability, customisation, research, and industry difficulties, offered insightful information about how the fashion and interior design industries are changing. The interactive session has encouraged learners to maintain their inventiveness, curiosity, and fortitude while negotiating the ever-changing business environment as designers.
