The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development embarked on a transformative journey with 'Future Vista- The New Age Careers,' a dynamic career conclave that unfolded from April 8 to April 10, 2024. This three-day event illuminated the evolving landscape of career opportunities for our students. Future Vista aimed to navigate the burgeoning spectrum of new-age career pathways in the cybersecurity sector. Recognizing the shifting paradigms in various industries, the conclave served as a compass, guiding attendees toward the most promising and innovative career trajectories. Dr. Kakali Gupta (HOD, Dept of MBA, Swami Vivekananda Institute of Management and Computer Science), Mr. Shubhro Datta (Deputy Commissioner of Revenue, Govt of West Bengal), Mr. Prosun Prodhan (Officer, WEBEL) were the esteemed panelists at the session and Mr. Prasenjit Ghosh (Chief strategy officer, UNO consultant) moderated the session. Mr. Shubhro Datta spoke on why we need digital data security in India. "After 5 to 10 years there will be only digital banks, no brick and mortar," stated Dr. Kakali Gupta. "You have to run LINUX if you want to do hands-on training on cyber security," Mr. Prosun Prodhan clarified. The event stood as a testament to our commitment to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and foresight needed to thrive in an ever-evolving professional landscape of cyber security.
