iLEAD- The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development witnessed ‘Future Vista- The New Age Careers’ on April 24, 2023. The 2nd edition of the 5 days career conclave was inaugurated on April 24, 2023. With the emergence of the new age career options, an event like Future Vista was organised to help our students to unlock the brightest career options ahead.
Experts from the fields of Entrepreneurship, Media, and Film were present to enlighten all the students. The third panel in the afternoon was discussed on ‘Film’.
The third panel of the day had panelists like Mr. Siladitya Sanyal (Professor, Direction & Producing for Electronics & Digital Media SRFTI), Mr. Nilanjan Banerjee (Asst. Professor, Producing for Film and Television, SRFTI), Ms. Modhura Palit (Cinematographer), and Ms. Subha Das Mollick (Documentary Film Maker and Academician) as the moderator for the session. Mr. Siladitya Sanyal spoke about ‘plot-centric storytelling’. Mr. Nilanjan Banerjee explained how ‘every content is not cinema’. Ms. Modhura Palit talked about how ‘future of filmmaking is co-production and co-funding between countries’. She also stressed the importance of ‘networking’ in career.
The panels also interacted with students and replied to their queries regarding continuous learning and adapting to emerging technologies. All the panels witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who are excited to start off their careers in their respective sectors.
