Field Visit to the Shor Studios

On April 20 and 21, 2023, the Film and Television Department of iLEAD organized a field visit for the students of the same department to Shor Studios.

Providing state-of-the-art audio recording, designing and mixing facilities in Kolkata, Shor Studios is a landmark for all the aspiring filmmakers and sound designers in town. No matter how much theory one is able to gulp down, practical exposure is something that has a different way of influencing students and making them understand.

Witnessing the real time workflow of the studio, the technological equipment, mechanical instruments and employees at work, the students got to know about the complex procedures and how actually everything comes together behind the scenes. For the students, it was a first-time experience from which they learned so much and cherished the entire experience.
