iLEAD organised a grand four-day orientation program to warmly welcome the new batch of students from 31st July to 3rd August 2024. iLEAD hosts an orientation seminar for parents and students each year to provide general information about our institute. Guests graced the occasion to motivate the newcomers through their insightful advice. This year 850+ new students attended orientation programs from different departments including the School of Creativity, Business, and Science and Technology.
On July 31, 2024, Grand Orientation Day 1 spotted a customary lamp-lighting ceremony, signifying the illumination of boundless potential and Ganesh Vandana. Our Chairman Mr. Pradip Chopra, Executive Director Ms. Pragya Chopra, and esteemed guest Dr. Deepak Vohra, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau and Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils, Kargil and Leh, commenced the event by recognising their contribution. Dr. Vohra has served in France, Vietnam, Tunisia, the United States, Nigeria, Cameroon, Benin, Chad, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, and Spain and as Ambassador of India to Armenia, Georgia, Sudan, South Sudan, Poland, and Lithuania. Their presence highlights a tone of dedication and commitment to nurturing the future youths of leaders.
The initial three days of the orientation program were honoured by the presence of Dr. Deepak Vohra, a prominent diplomat and insightful leader for all departments of students. He has a deep sense of responsibility towards the youth with passion. He talked about the prospects of India by stating that education is the foundation of Advancement. His advice sparked an emotional link with the students and inspired them to face their personal and academic obstacles bravely.
The event's final day was captivating with Mr. Jimmy Tangree (Founder of 91.9 Friends FM.) and Ms. Afshaan Rahman (Corporate Trainer and Entrepreneur) for Media Science, Film & television, entrepreneurship, and the Travel & Tourism department. Mr. Jimmy Tangree provides insightful knowledge for new youth to navigate their future lives. Ms. Afshaan Rahman further motivated them by suggesting that they pursue their passions to enhance their self-confidence.
The orientation program was a resounding success for the student with motivation and ready to embark on their academic journey at iLEAD. It allows them to shape their future by getting all the tools and support. The occasion was an ideal combination of motivation, celebration, and guidance for new beginners.
