EduMorphosis Vol II: Empowering School Leaders with New-Age Learning

On 22nd March, iLEAD hosted an exclusive gathering — “EduMorphosis for School Leaders - Vol II” — at the Dale Carnegie Auditorium. The event was aimed at school directors, principals, and vice-principals, and was organized in association with Edudigm, STEM-powered, and Mentors First.

The event focused on innovative educational strategies, the integration of lateral thinking, and the exploration of cultural heritage to revolutionize classroom learning.

The event commenced with lamp lighting, and Mr. Pradip Chopra (Chairman of iLEAD) and Ms. Pragya Chopra (Executive Director of iLEAD) graced the gathering.

Principals from various esteemed institutions attended, including Mr. John Bagul (Chairperson of Athlead International School), Ms. Sonali Sarkar (Principal of Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar), Dr. Lipika Banerjee (Principal of Summit School), Ms. Tania Sen (Principal of Techno India Group Public School - Garia), Dr. Moitreyee Mukherjee (Principal of Army Public School, Barrackpore), and many more. All attendees focused on enhancing classroom learning through creative and engaging methodologies.

Mr. Chopra shared valuable insights on how educational leadership can contribute to India’s cultural and educational transformation.

A panel discussion was also conducted, featuring Mr. John Bagul, Ms. Rupkatha Sarkar, Mr. Abhishek Kumar Yadav, and Ms. Purnima Chatterjee. The panelists shared their insights on the significance of experiential learning and teaching methods to boost students’ understanding and knowledge retention. They emphasized how hands-on, real-world experiences can create more meaningful and impactful learning environments.

Mr. Rajiv Agarwal (Co-founder and CEO of Eduverse), a guest speaker at the event, explained the concepts of traditional capitalism, socialism, and fascism. He emphasized the importance of focusing on the process of work, as it helps educators better understand students’ perceptions and fosters empathy in teaching. He also presented an innovative perspective on how technology and leadership can reshape the educational ecosystem.

The event highlighted the future of learning through memes and humour, demonstrating how these unconventional tools can revolutionize classrooms. Additionally, it delved into India’s cultural past and heritage, analysing their role in shaping a smarter future through experiential learning.
