On September 22nd, 2022, iLEAD students from the department of Media Science (3rd and 5th Semester) and Film and Television (3rd Semester), attended a workshop at the American Center on Digital Media Literacy.
Ms. Brittani Kollar, International Training Program Manager, MediaWise, Poynter Institute conducted the workshop.
She talked about disinformation and misinformation on the internet. She also spoke about the spread of fake news and shared tools demonstrating how to check fake news.
The session ended with a question-answer round wherein the students asked Ms. Brittani Kollar about their doubts.
