On February 9 and 10, 2023, the students of iLEAD were taken to the Kolkata International Book Fair that took place at the Central Park Mela Ground.
A prestigious annual affair where the students were exposed to gaining knowledge and having fun as they took a round tour of the fair, bought books of their choice from the never-ending variety of books available, took a glance of all the cultural exhibitions going on and went shopping for the same and also explored the food section which has multiple stalls set up.
The students went about taking interview bytes of the visitors getting to know about their overall experience at the book fair and engaging with them on a personal level. Many students were also provided with a paid internship where they had to handle the on-ground situation inside the SBI Auditorium where the Kolkata Literature Festival was held from February 9 to 11, 2023. The Ninth Edition of KLF was held at the venue and was inaugurated by CV Ananda Bose, the Governor of West Bengal, and BratyaBasu, the State Education Minister.
