The NSS Unit iLEAD in collaboration with Project Life Force had organized a blood donation drive on 13th May 2022 from 09:30 am to 03:00 pm IST.
The drive had collected a total of 70 units of blood during the span of 5 and a half hours. The collected blood was supplied to "Peoples Blood Centre" blood bank.
The drive was organized during the event of Managedia 2022 at the campus of iLEAD. The student volunteers at the NSS Unit worked hard to make the drive a success.
It was extremely overwhelming to see the response of volunteers as well as the other students, who without a second thought step forward to save lives of others. Once the blood was donated, we clicked a picture of the donor and made an instant certificate for them. This entire part was looked after by the volunteers of PLF (Project Life Force), and refreshments were provided by us before and after the donation to whoever came down for registration. In the end, it was one of the most successful events carried out by the NSS Unit of iLEAD.
