Basic Cinematography Session at Gariahat 2023 – Walking with the Lens

The students of the iLEAD School of Creativity had a Basic Cinematography Session at Gariahat, Kolkata called ‘Walking with the Lens’ on August 8th, 2023. Team of 13 students from the Department of Film & Television. The students went to experience different scenarios and create visual stories from them. The students were given 10 minutes to observe the entire space and find unique stories. Then the students were asked to do a one-shot shoot on their mobile phones. The students shot there and instantly made short visual stories using their smartphones. The shot analysis of the stories submitted by the students was analyzed by Mr. Aakash Sethi, a pass-out from the Department of Cinematography. The entire session was really a successful one as the students gained practical knowledge that will help them to excel in the future.
