Department of Media Science under the iLEAD School of Creativity organised a workshop on World Photography Day on August 18th, 2023. The event began at 2:00 PM and was held at the New Auditorium in iLEAD.
World Photography Day is globally celebrated every year on August 19th, 2024. The day is dedicated to exploring and discussing the history of photography, and various aspects related to photography. The theme for this year’s Photography Day was ‘Landscape’.
The esteemed speakers at the workshop were Mr. Umesh Ghogna (SONY Artisan) and Mr. Saroj Kumar Dora (Alpha Specialist). Mr. Ghogna shared his valuable insights on Astro Photography. He explained that Astro Photography is a combination of Landscape and Travel Photography. He also discussed the difference between Astro Photography and Travel Photography.
The students who attended the event were highly enlightened and motivated by the valuable insights and experiences shared by the guests.
