iLEAD’s Tribute Triumph: A Day to Remember

On 30th January, iLEAD witnessed an amazing event, “Tribute Triumph”, to celebrate Martyr’s Day organised by the Management club of iLEAD. The session started at 10:00 am at Dale Carnage Auditorium. The esteemed speaker of the event was Brigadier Dr. Sujay Ranjan Chaudhuri, director of the Army Institute of Management of Kolkata, who was felicitated by Dr. Soumen Chatterjee, Principal of iLEAD and Dr. Priyanka Jaiswal, HOD of Management department.

During the session, he shared the story of bravery and the army's contribution to India. He shared the life of Lieutenant Navdeep Singh Bains, AC a Ghatak Platoon Commander of the 15 Maratha Light Infantry regiment in the Indian Army, which is truly inspiring. Being awarded the Ashoka Chakra posthumously is a testament to his unparalleled valour and selflessness. His sacrifice on behalf of the nation highlights the extraordinary contributions made by soldiers who protect the country. By narrating the story of Lieutenant Navdeep Singh Bains and his ultimate sacrifice, the session would have emphasized the values of courage, dedication, and selflessness in service to the nation. The student would have benefited from grasping the significance of acknowledging and valuing the armed forces' contributions to upholding India's security and sovereignty, thereby cultivating a sense of pride and respect for the nation.

Additionally, the event also highlighted the significance of the Cognitive Revolution, an intellectual movement, providing the understanding of bridging the gap between the physical world and the world of ideas, concepts, meanings and intentions. He explained that the concept ignited humanity's intellectual evolution, and finds its modern reflection in India's Tribute Triumph—a celebration of the nation's rich intellectual heritage, unity, and continued progress as a global power.

The event concluded with an inspiring competition where students showcased their entrepreneurial ideas with creativity and innovation, contributing to the growth of Modern India. This platform not only encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs but also fostered a spirit of enthusiasm, innovation, and progress among students.
