On August 15th 2023, iLEAD celebrated the 76th Independence Day at the campus from 9 am onwards. The Cultural Club of iLEAD in collaboration with the NSS Unit organized the events of the day.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony by Mr. Pradip Chopra, Chairman of iLEAD followed by his address to the students at the auditorium.
The day also witnessed a cultural program by the NSS Unit named as ‘Veero Ka Varan’, honouring the freedom fighters of Bengal. The program included dance performances, a stage drama and also patriotic songs by the students.
Also, the documentary film ‘Transfer of Power’, produced by iLEAD Films was screened for the present audience. ‘Transfer of Power’ covers the events of the last 120 days showcasing the hand over of power from the British Government to the Government of India in 1947.
