On April 6, 2023, the Department of Allied Health in association with Ruby General Hospital, NSS, and Future Hope organized a celebration on the occasion of World Health Day.
The celebration was divided into four major events that took place which included the inauguration of an Awareness Walkathon on that day at Ruby General Hospital from 7:30 AM onwards followed by a Health Seminar at the Old Auditorium in the iLEAD Campus from 11 AM onwards and the inauguration of iLEAD"s new and very own Eye Clinic called "iVISION" at 12:30 PM.
The health seminar witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries from the healthcare sector. Mr. Debojyoti Dev (Assistant Superintendent, non-medical, at ESI Hospital,Manicktala), Mr. Sujan Kumar Sinha(Regional Head, East, Lenskart), Dr. Ajay Kumar Arya (Senior Consultant and ENT Surgeon, Apollo Hospital), Dr. IndranilMitra (Deputy Medical Superintendent and Clinical Head Emergency and Outreach Services, Ruby General Hospital) addressed the students on the occasion of the World Health Day and also answered the queries of the students.
Finally, the event was concluded by hosting a Health Camp at iLEAD from 11 AM to 3 PM which was open to all. It is vital to assess your wellbeing and get checkups done every now and then after proper intervals. The students as well as staff members took up the opportunity and got their health tests and checkups done.
