The iLEAD School of Creativity arranged an industry visit on May 25th and May 26th, 2024. A group of ten students from B.Sc in Media Science had the opportunity to visit the studio of TV9 News Channel under mentors from the Placement Cell of iLEAD.
Industry visits are important for students to acquire practical knowledge and industry exposure. The students had hands-on practical experience with the team of TV9 channel, and they experienced an overview of the news channel where they also had a chance to learn the basics of camera operations in a newsroom.
The visit to the TV9 channel delivered students a great opportunity to enlighten themselves with practical knowledge regarding journalism and how a news channel functions as a whole.
