The Academic and Literary Club brought an afternoon echoing with powerful voices thick with diverse perspectives - The Turncoat Debate 2022!
The debate was on the topic, "Jingoism has no place in a school curriculum."
We witnessed a kaleidoscope of opinions. This was the first event held by the new council.
The panel of judges included Dr. Ishita Dutta Ray (Vice Principal) and Mr.Nishant Ghatak (Faculty).
After the last debater gave their speech, Mr. Ankan Ray (Faculty) went up on the stage to impart some words of enlightenment, followed by the judges giving their views before the results were decided.
With Mehwish Hassan and AnupaBagchi bagging the prizes for the best speaker, the event came to an impressive ending.
