Session on Industry Standard Topics on Cybersecurity with Mr. Prosun Pradhan

The iLEAD School of Science and Technology arranged a session on Cyber Security on May 15th, 2024. The session commenced at 11 am at the Dale Carnegie Auditorium of iLEAD.

Cybersecurity has become one of the crucial parts with the emergence of digitization, to protect intellectual property and data from illegal access. iLEAD welcomed Mr. Prosun Pradhan (Assistant Manager, WEBEL Kolkata) as the guest speaker for the session to share his valuable insights on industry-standard topics on cybersecurity.

Mr. Prosun Pradhan covered various aspects of cybersecurity with the attendees, offering tips on becoming a successful ethical hacker. Besides, he talked about Symmetric and Asymmetric Encryption. Mr. Pradhan also emphasized the importance of LINUX, and interacted with students about LINUX. According to him, every student pursuing cybersecurity should be well-versed in LINUX as learning LINUX will lead students to secure high-paying jobs in the cybersecurity sector.

The students from the Department of iLEAD School of Science and Technology had the opportunity to enlighten themselves through the interactive and engaging session.
