On August 20th, 2022, the students from the Creative Team along with mentors went for a visit to the Indian Museum. The initiative was a part of the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration during the independence week.
Starting from viewing India’s rich bio-diversity, heritage, history, age-old sculptures, the students also went through the ‘March to Freedom’ section at the museum.
They also went through a discussion from various revolts to movements during the British rule that led to our freedom at the ‘March to Freedom’ division.
Almost 200 years of struggle for India’s independence was benchmarked with respective year from 1757 to 1947 at a huge table that led the students discuss the history of India’s independence.
Students also enjoyed some art time at the museum. With colors and papers, they drew and wrote to their might. The old posters by the British-controlled Indian post office, and movies were also observed by the students.
