Every year, March 23rd is observed as World Optometry Day by the World Council of Optometry, recognizing and promoting the vital role of optometrists in ensuring eye health and vision care.
This year, in celebration of the occasion, the iLEAD School of Science & Technology organized a special Vision Screening Camp on March 20th, 2025, at I.P. Memorial School, Liluah. The initiative was spearheaded by the dedicated and skilled students of the Optometry program, who showcased both their clinical expertise and compassionate service.
A total of 111 individuals, including students, teachers, and staff members of the school, received comprehensive eye checkups during the camp. The event served as a meaningful step towards raising awareness about the importance of regular eye screenings and maintaining eye health.
Through such impactful initiatives, iLEAD continues to uphold its commitment to community welfare and experiential learning, blending academic excellence with real-world service.
