From April 7th to 11th, 2025, the Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD) became the epicentre of imagination and energy as it hosted the 11th edition of Kolkata’s largest inter-college festival — Managedia 2025: A Timeless Odyssey. Powered by the esteemed House of Sheherwali, this highly anticipated celebration brought together students, creators, changemakers, and industry leaders for five unforgettable days of creativity, innovation, and cultural brilliance.
With the theme “Timeless Odyssey,” this year’s Managedia encouraged participants to fuse the legacy of the past with the promise of the future. More than 90 colleges participated in over 60 events spanning management, media, culinary arts, allied health, gaming, photography, sports, and culture. The festival began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the illumination of infinite creative possibilities.
The grand inauguration was graced by distinguished Guests of Honour:
“Managedia is not just a fest—it’s a celebration of youthful brilliance and limitless imagination,”said Mr. Tangree. “It’s fantabulous to see how far it has come since its inception.” Mr. Hassan added, “The dreams and discipline I witnessed at iLEAD will surely blaze remarkable paths ahead.”
Sporting Glory & Institutional Excellence
iLEAD’s home teams shone brightly, claiming victories in both boys’ and girls’ football and cricket. Shri Shikshayatan College stood out in Boys’ Throwball, Girls’ Tug of War, and the Pool category.

A major draw on Day 3 was the campus visit by director Mr. Srijit Mukherji and actor Mr. Parambrata Chattopadhyay, who promoted their upcoming film Killbill Society.
Mr. Mukherjee -“Any college fest, I think, is superb because it brings back memories of our own college life. The energy of youth always inspires you and pushes you to do better and think out of the box. So obviously, it’s a wonderful experience to be part of such a celebration.”
Mr. Chattopadhyay -“It’s truly encouraging to see such young talent being nurtured, polished, and honed to eventually contribute meaningfully to the media industry. The future looks promising with minds like these”.
Their interaction offered students valuable insights into the world of cinema and storytelling, adding a star-studded charm to the fest.
The cultural extravaganza soared with 15 show-stopping categories. From the elegant fashion show themed “Echoes of Intricacies” to riveting performances under the “Timeless Odyssey” theme, students brought their creativity to life on stage. The electrifying DJ night, dance battles, strategy games, and immersive showcases added to the unforgettable experience.
Managedia 2025 was more than a festival — it was a movement. A platform where ambition met artistry, competition sparked connection, and memories were made to last a lifetime. With each passing year, Managedia continues to grow as a cultural landmark at iLEAD, inspiring future generations to dream, create, and lead with passion.
