78th Independence Day Celebrations at iLEAD Kolkata

iLEAD Kolkata commemorated the
78th Independence Day with heartfelt enthusiasm and national spirit on
August 15, 2025. The campus came alive in the colours of the tricolour, reflecting the emotions of freedom, resilience, and pride that define our nation. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by
Mr. Pradip Chopra (Chairman of iLEAD) &
Ms. Deepali Singhi (Principal of iLEAD), followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The moment filled every heart with reverence and gratitude. Faculty members, students, and staff came together to honour the countless heroes who fought for India’s freedom and shaped its destiny.
The day continued with a series of cultural performances that beautifully expressed the nation’s journey from its struggles for independence to its achievements as a modern democracy. Students showcased their talent through patriotic songs, poetry recitations, and dramatic performances that celebrated India’s unity in diversity. Adding to the spirit of reflection, a thought-provoking short film was screened, depicting India’s remarkable evolution and the unyielding spirit of its people. The screening encouraged everyone to value the ideals of freedom, integrity, and progress that underpin our nation.
Leaders and mentors from the iLEAD community also shared inspiring words, urging students to uphold the values of courage, compassion, and responsibility as they prepare to become tomorrow's changemakers. Their messages reminded everyone that true independence lies not just in freedom, but in the continuous pursuit of growth, equality, and innovation.
