A Momentous Beginning: iLEAD’s HR Meet & Greet with HRLN

On 4th January 2025, the HR department of iLEAD organised an inspiring HR Meet & Greet in association with the HR Learning Network (HRLN) to unveil a groundbreaking Mentorship Club. This initiative brought together senior HR professionals as mentors to provide hands-on training and experiential learning for iLEAD students. The event witnessed an exceptional turnout of 50 HR representatives from diverse industries, fostering meaningful collaboration and networking. This strategic alliance aims to unlock exciting placement and internship opportunities, paving the way for our students' professional success.

The event’s highlight was the felicitation of our esteemed guests by Dr. Soumen Chatterjee, Principal of iLEAD, and Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharya, HR Head of iLEAD. Their efforts reinforced iLEAD's commitment to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharya, HR Head of iLEAD, articulated the event's vision: "We aim to invite corporate HR professionals as panellists, workshop members, or visiting faculty to provide hands-on training, internships, and projects for our students. With HR professionals as mentors, students can gain valuable guidance and experience, laying the foundation for Placement Week in March."

Mr. Sayak Sarkar, Co-founder of HR Learning Network (HRLN), exchanged his valuable thoughts, emphasizing the importance of mentorship by stating "The Learning Network is a platform designed to share programs that empower individuals. We are committed to providing mentorship and guidance to help students achieve their professional aspirations."

The keynote address by Ms. Silva Sarkar, Regional Manager of Max Fashion focused on the critical theme of mental wellness in today's rapidly evolving work environments. The importance of mental wellness cannot be overstated. Her presentation likely offered attendees meaningful perspectives on the importance of mental health and practical strategies to foster wellness within organizations, resonating deeply with the audience.
