iLEAD offers a combination of studies and paid work. This helps the students to gather experience. A motivational factor added to the syllabus is the opportunity to gather firsthand experience via paid work through iLEAD. Our students are shining examples of the same.
Gaganpreet Kaur and Shivangi Jalan successfully completed their internships from NFDC (National Film Development Corporation of India), Kolkata.With Saurav Pal, both Gaganpreet and Shivangi are currently working after class hours as a paid Video Editor under Suchi Maheshwari, Head; iLEAD Production. Former studentAditya Dalmia also contributes regularly as a freelancer.

Every year our management students do a survey at the India’s leading trade fair, India International Mega Trade Fair (IIMTF), organized by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and GS Marketing Associates.
iLEAD alumnus, Shilajit Dey made a documentary, ‘Awaaz’ and won the second runner up position in the Best Film Category at Cine Shorts by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Best Script in Fourth Kolkata International Short Film Festival. Awaaz also premiered at MTV Indies. Not only Awaaz, another short film of Shilajit, ‘The Radio’ became the second runner up at the UNESCO International Film Festival (2013). ‘Dost’ won UNESCO International Film Festival (2015) and ‘I Can Lead’ was screened by NDTV World Premiere in association with Pocket Films. His latest documentary ‘Bapu’ was screened by Yup TV. He also made number of music videos for Sa Re Ga Ma and Hindustan Records and a number of corporate films and ad films for PS Group, Indian Silk House, Newtown School, Akaash Institute and iLEAD. Shilajit gets all kind of support, equipment and facilities from iLEAD for his projects.
